Counsel for Discipline of the Nebraska Supreme Court

Effective July 31, 2014 Dennis Carlson will officially be in retirement. Dennis Carlson has been the Counsel for Discipline of the Nebraska Supreme Court since 1981 and after 30 + years of service has decided to retire.  We wish you the best!

The Office of the Counsel for Discipline investigates and prosecutes violations of the Rules of Professional Conduct as adopted by the Nebraska Supreme Court. Attorneys in the State of Nebraska are subject to Rules of Professional Conduct and Dennis Carlson conducts investigations into such violations. Sanctions range from a private reprimand to disbarment from the practice of law. The goal of the Office of the Counsel for Discipline is to protect the public, the profession and the justice system from unethical attorneys.

In addition to being the Counsel for Discipline, Dennis Carlson was an educator and provided information in the area of legal ethics. He regularly gives advice on ethical issues to attorneys and was always just a phone call away with any ethical questions. He will truly be missed by the legal community.

The firm of Reagan, Melton & Delaney, L.L.P. would like to welcome Mark Weber as the new Counsel for Discipline of the Nebraska Supreme Court.
