Aimee Melton graduated from Creighton University School of Law and was admitted to the Nebraska State Bar Commission in 2004. Aimee is a founding partner of Reagan, Melton & Delaney, L.L.P. and a valued member of the firm. After Aimee was admitted to the bar, she began working as a prosecutor in Douglas County and is an experienced trial attorney. Aimee has tried over 150 bench and jury trials in her career. She uses her experience to represent her client’s interests and aggressively handles each case.
At Reagan, Melton & Delaney, L.L.P., Aimee concentrates her practice primarily in the areas of family law, including divorce, child custody, parenting time, child support, modifications, contempt actions, grandparent rights, and domestic violence protection orders. She also devotes a significant part of her practice to probate matters, wills, trusts and estate planning. Aimee is a certified Family Law Mediator. Aimee has successfully argued numerous cases in front of the Nebraska Court of Appeals and Nebraska Supreme Court.
In 2013, Aimee was elected to the Omaha City Council for District 7 and re-elected in 2017. She is a familiar face in Douglas, Sarpy, and Cass counties. Aimee takes satisfaction from working to improve the community both as a representative for the City of Omaha, and as an experienced and well respected attorney.
